COVID-19 Preventative Safety Tips for Halloween

Happy Halloween! Fun Fact:  According to Guinness World Records, the most lit Jack O’lanterns on display is 30,581 by the city of Keenee, New Hampshire in 2013

With concerns about spreading COVID-19, The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention are asking to avoid high risk activities to help prevent the spread of the virus that causes COVID-19. For example: Participating in traditional trick-or-treating where treats are handed to children who go door to door.

Instead here are some safe alternative activity ideas for you and your family to enjoy.

  1. Carving pumpkins with members of your household, or outside, at a safe distance, with neighbors or friends
  2. Decorating your house, apartment, or living space
  3. Having a Halloween movie night with people you live with or Having an outdoor Halloween movie night with family/ friends with people spaced at least 6 feet apart
  4. Having a small group, outdoor, open-air costume party where people are distanced more than 6 feet apart

Our team at [firm] encourage our family, friends, and community to take the necessary steps to help assist in the prevention of spreading COVID-19.
