Lindsay Ricketts, Federal Attorney and Family Law Attorney, was born and raised in southern New Mexico. While there, Lindsay interned for a Defense Attorney and also volunteered for the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). She moved to Oregon in 2014 to attend law school and worked as a Certified Law Clerk for the District Attorney’s Office. After graduation, she remained at the DA’s Office as a Prosecutor where she gained experience in Juvenile Dependency and Delinquency Law as well as Adult Criminal Law. She worked for the DA’s Office for nearly 7 years total and then transitioned her legal practice to Family Law. Lindsay recently moved to Colorado Springs where she desires to continue the practice of Family Law and expand into Federal practice.
Lindsay has a broad range of criminal and family law experience to utilize when working with clients. She has experience representing parties in matters involving divorce, paternity, custody, child support, modifications, adoptions, protection orders, etc. Lindsay recognizes that the situations of each client can vary, requiring a unique approach to their specific needs. Her prior legal experience allows her to bring a specific skill set and knowledge to high-conflict divorce or custody cases where DHS or pending criminal charges are factors to be considered.
Lindsay understands that pending legal matters can be a stressful and emotional time for the individuals involved. Whatever your circumstances may be, she will assist you in understanding your options to help facilitate how you would like to proceed in your case.
